McDuffie Regional Medical Center is recently recognized Linda Strosnider, registered nurse in Surgical Services, as the Golden Heart winner for May.
She is considerate, compassionate, and respectful to our patients and their families, according to her supervisors. She "leads the team" by communicating with all areas of the surgical department to keep the schedule in order.
"Thank you Linda for all you do," said Peggy Barmore, CNE. "Your co-workers noticed all the "extras' you do and wanted you to be rewarded with the Golden Heart Award!"
The physicians and her fellow associates are confident that if there was a problem with equipment, supplies, or need for an extra hand, she will immediately resolve the situation.
"Linda goes beyond just being a co-worker by performing kind acts which makes others feel special and thought of," said Sandra Klein. "She is the first to help out during special events held at the hospital."
