A journey of a thousand miles comes to an end at Georgia TASC for Pecola J. Wiley. Ms. Wiley of Thomson recently retired from Georgia TASC. Her success, dedication and longevity on the job are attributed to her personal relationship with Jesus as her guide.
Ms. Wiley's love, compassion and dedication towards her clients and co-workers allowed her to serve for 33 years. While on the job, she served as Program Supervisor for the Direct Care staff and the coordinator for the Day Habilitation Program, as well as the Supported Employment Program. She began working as a secretary in August of 1974. She ended her journey on May 31, 2007. A celebratory dinner was held in her honor at First Baptist Church's fellowship hall on June 16 with 150 guests attending.
