WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. Gary H. Smith, 60, husband of Mrs. Ann Todd Smith of Gibson Highway died Thursday July 5, 2007, at the University Hospital.
Graveside funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2007, at the Johnson Cemetery with Rev. Bryant D. Neal Officiating.
Mr. Smith, a native of Wilkes County, had been a Warren County resident since 1985. He was a former supervisor with Federal Paper Board for 30 years and a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ann T. Smith, his stepmother, Doris Smith, Siloam, Ga., two daughters, Janice Smith (Earl) Leavenworth, Washington, Shela Smith (Tim) Lawson, Tignall, Ga., two sons, Jeff (Donna) Hinton, Gordon, Ga., Jay (Christie) Hinton, Sandersville, two sisters, Elaine Smith Partain, Madison, Ga., Patricia Heath, Union Point, Ga., one sister in Law, Faye (Jimmy) Norman, Thomson, eight grandchildren, Dustin Hanson Turner, Jessica Turner, Will Lawson, Clay Lawson, Kyle Hinton, Brooke Hinton, Jacey Hinton, and Anna Hinton.
Pallbearers were Dustin Turner, Kyle Hinton, Tim Lawson, Douglas Combs, Edward Smith, and Marvin Norman.
