Mr. John Thomas Zellars
LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mr. John Thomas Zellars entered into rest Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at the Medical College of Georgia.
Funeral services were conducted July 8, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Lincolnton at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Elizabeth Harris officiating. Interment was at the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, Lincolnton.
Survivors are his wife, Elease Zellars; two sons, Gregory (Rebecca) Zellars and Godfrey (Felicia) Zellars, all of Lincolnton; six daughters, Grescenia Zellars, Sharon Gunby, Regenia Gunby, Ruby L. Beard and Mattie Chrisitan, all of Lincoltnon and Carolyn (Harry) Elam of Grovetown; two stepsons, Justin (Junita) Appling, Thomson and Bruce McCord of Augusta; two stepdaughters, Brenda (Wallace) Norman and Sharonda (Johnathan) Elam of Lincolnton; three sisters, Ann Cullars and Nanleen (Floyd) Freeman of Lincolnton, Essie Mae Kelly of Ware Shoals, S.C.; one brother, Willie C. Williams, Sr. of Lincolnton; 12 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Norris W. Gunby, Sr., Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
