APPLING, Ga. - Mrs. Jane Brown Faile, age 62, of Appling, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, entered into rest on July 4, 2006, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth G. Faile; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Neal A. Brown and a sister Ms. Carolyn Brown.
Mrs. Faile's kind nature and child-like spirit were evident to all in her presence. She loved fun times with her family and friends, and kept her sense of humor even under the most difficult circumstances. Her smile could light your day, and her laugh gave you security and warmth. Mrs. Faile's devotion in life was in being a wife and mother. She was married to her late husband Kenneth for 44 exciting and wonderful years. Along with her husband, Mrs. Faile sold real estate for the Meybohm Company of Evans. She embodied the essence of motherhood, always kind, generous, loving and protective. She loved to travel with her loved ones, and created memories from all over the world in her lifetime. In her later years, Mrs. Faile cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren stating, "This is what I am most proud of."
Mrs. Faile is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Faile-Hood (Mr. Alan Hood), Mrs. Theresa Faile Shelton, (Mr. Christopher Shelton), Mrs. Anne Faile Davis, (Mr. Roger Davis) and a son, Mr. Neal Kenneth Faile. Mrs. Faile also leaves behind two granddaughters, Bailey Sophia Anne Davis and Gabrielle Kenna Davis. Mrs. Faile will also be missed be her three sisters, Mrs. Ursula Barton, Mrs. Michelle Stansberry and Ms. Mary Alice Brown.
The Memorial Mass was held at 2 p.m., on Friday, July 7, 2006 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Thomson.
