LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mrs. Mary Lois McCorkle McGahee, 73, entered into rest Friday, July 8, 2005 at Doctors Hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 10, 2005 at 3 p.m. at Lincolnton United Methodist Church with Rev. Elton Lawson and Bishop Cullen Hicks officiating. Interment was at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. McGahee was a native of McDuffie County, was a retired telephone operator with Wilkes Telephone and Electric Company, and a member of the Lincolnton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Danny McGahee of Brooks, and Phil McGahee of Lincolnton; two brothers, Robert E. McCorkle, Jr. of Snellville, and Ray McCorkle of Dearing; one sister, Ann Carter of White Oak Campground, Appling; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Flynt Biles and Peyton Banks. Pallbearers will be Jamie Farley, Jeremy Farley, Harry McGahee, Paul McGahee, Dr. Dewayne McGahee and Sammy Dawkins.
