Mrs. Hazel Gay Morris

APPLING, Ga. - Mrs. Hazel Gay Morris, 72, wife of Johnny N. Morris, entered into rest July 7, 2005 at University Hospital, Augusta.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 9, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Silver Run Baptist Church, Harlem, with the Revs. John McMillian and Jerry Pittman officiating. Interment was in the Harlem Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Morris was born in McDuffie County and a member of the Silver Run Baptist Church. She was a loving wife for 57 years and a loving mother.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Morris of Harlem and a daughter, Nancy (John) Fetter of Harlem; four brothers, Herman Gay, Appling, Joseph Gay, Dearing, Ronnie Gay, Dearing and Timmy Gay, Thomson and sister, Vonnie Kitchens, Appling. Additonal survivors include four grandchildren, Johnny W. Morris, Michael Morris, Donnie Fetter and Elizabeth Bowles; three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Emma and Anna. Pallbearers are Herman Gay, Johnny Morris, Michael Morris, Donnie Fetter, Joseph Gay and Ronnie Gay.
Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
