THOMSON , Ga. - Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Palmer, 61, of Thomson, entered into rest July 1, 2005.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Palmer, Thomson; sons, Robert Wayne Bentley, Lee Anthony Hall, Kenny Michael Palmer and Robert Nathaniel Palmer, all of Thomson; daughters, Dawn Renee Levine, Atlanta, Cathy Irene Chastain, Lincolnton, Crystal Lynn Palmer, Thomson and Donna Palmer, Thomson; sisters, Jeanne Snellgrove, Claxton and Carol Saggus, Lincolnton and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Bentley.
Mrs. Palmer was born in Augusta and the daughter of the later Laura Wesley Jackson and the late Mary Margaret Anthony. She opened her home as a foster home for seven years assisting twelve children and also cared for several elderly women during their terminal illnesses. Mrs. Palmer was also a member of Union Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2005 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larron Pilgrim officiating. Interment followed in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gary Palmer, Eddie Palmer, Matt Palmer, Stevie Palmer, Gene Palmer and Bobby Saggus, Jr.
