THOMSON, Ga.- Mrs. Christine Ansley Friedmann, 96, of Spring Mount, Pa. and a resident of Thomson Manor entered into rest July 3, 2004 at McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2004 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gordon Crumpton officiating. Interment followed in the Camak Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Larry McCord, Kenneth Ansley, Carlton Norris, Charles Pate, Charles Paulos and Pete Hinnershitz.
Mrs. Friedmann, a native of Warren County and the daughter of the late Tom and Josie Ansley, had lived in Spring Mount, Pa. for many years. Before moving to Spring Mount, she lived in Upper Darby, Pa. She was a retired waitress, service 33 years at Collegeville Inn. She was a Baptist and baptized at Camak Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carol Ashley of Douglasville, Pa.; a son, George W. Kahmer, Jr. of Pennsauken, N.J.; a brother, Dr. James R. Ansley of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
