Victoria Nicole Roye and Alan Brandon Bussell were united in marriage on Saturday, May 26, 2007, at 3 p.m. at Sweetwater Baptist Church. Rev. Kenneth Garvin and Rev. James H. Bussell, Jr., officiated.
Victoria Nicole is the daughter of Michael Roye of Appling and Wanda Hobbs of Dearing. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Anderson of Augusta and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Roye of Appling. Victoria is employed by United American Health Insurance.
Alan Brandon Bussell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald A. Bussell of Thomson. He is the grandson of Samuel L. Story and Dollie H. Story of Thomson and the late Mr. and Mrs. James H. Bussell of Thomson. Alan is a graduate of Thomson High School. He is employed by Temple-Inland.
Given in marriage by her father, Victoria chose her friend Ashley Webber of Harlem, to serve as her matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Amy Birchfield, Lacey Brooks, Amber Downs, Brittany Johnson and Tiffany Logan, all friends of the bride. The flower girl was Bailey Frazier, the niece of the bride.
Alan chose Dustin Allen as his best man. Groomsmen were Derrick Birchfield, Daniel Garcia, William Helmly, Jayme Usry and Phillip Wilkerson. The ring bearer was Bryce Widener, the nephew of the bride.
The wedding planner/director was Tracy Ansley, a friend of the family.
Following the ceremony was a cake reception at Sweetwater Baptist Church and a reception at Thomson Country Club.
