MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mrs. Betty R. Goodwin, wife of Mr. William Bill Goodwin, entered into rest July 10, 2006 at Hartland Hospice, Augusta.
Mrs. Goodwin, a native of Americus, Ga., lived most of her life in Augusta. She was a homemaker and worked for T's restaurant for years. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include sons, Allen Turner, John Gary Turner, Augusta, Ga., Dan Turner, Interlachen, Fla.; stepson, Steve Goodwin, Stapleton, Ga.; one daughter, Gayle Harrison, Louisville, Ga.; step-daughter, Jan Tanner, Thomson, Ga.; 12 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Hillcrest Memorial Park at 11 a.m. with Mr. Ronnie Crawford and Bruce Tanner speaking.
