THOMSON, Ga. - Celebration of life for Mr. Robert Lee Sturgis, 50, of Thomson, was held Friday, July 14, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. at the Popular Springs Baptist Church, Rev. F.C. Henderson officiating.
Survivors are two daughters, Shanta Sturgis and Jaclyn (Kwanta) Dawson of Augusta, Ga.; six sisters, devoted sister, Evelyn Sturgis, Thomson, Marie (Willie) Casey of Clarksville, Tenn., Eva Jones of Waynesville, Mo., Betty (Andrew) Wiggins of Albany, Ga., Cora Jackson of Thomson, Desiree (Rickey) Fuquay of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, James Sturgis, Jr. and Curtis Sturgis, both of Thomson; five grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
