THOMSON, Ga. - Ms. Atlene Johnson entered into rest July 12, 2005.
A resident of Thomson, she was a retired bus driver for the CSRA Headstart Program.
She leaves to cherish three sons, Mr. Richard (Pearl) Johnston of Atlanta, Christopher Johnson of Macon and Jarvis Johnson of Thomson; two daughters, Ms. Geraldine Morris and Mrs. Louvinia (Alexander) Climons, both of Thomson; two special children, Michelle Williams of Harlem and Tavaris Wallace of Thomson; three sisters, Mrs. Elouise (Robert) Dunaway, Ms. Lucille Collins, both of Thomson and Ms. Myrtis Alsbrook of Atlanta; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 15, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Union Springs Baptist Church, Norwood, Rev. GL Avery, Pastor.
Crawford, Pinkston, Roberts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
