THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Marion Wilson, 74, husband of Betty Morton Wilson, entered into rest July 17, 2005 at the Medical College of Georgia.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the White Oak United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Tirko officiating.
Mr. Wilson was born in Clearwater, S.C. and lived most of his life in McDuffie County. He was a member of White Oak United Methodist Church and served in the Army National Guard during the Korean War. He was retired as a drywall contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty M. Wilson; one son, Marion J. and Lisa Wilson, Thomson; one daughter, Julie Wilson, Thomson; three sisters, Glenda Rickerson, Dearing, Alma Burris, Middleburg, Fla., and Helen Blackwell, Dearing; one brother, Ronald Wilson, Orange Park, Fla.
Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
