The employees are in place. The
building is ready. And the doors
are set to open.
Thomson's Zaxby's will open to
the public at 10:30 a.m. Monday,
according to District Manager
Herb Miller.
"We're thrilled to open in this
new location, and expect to be a
big hit especially among the
many families and businesses in
the area," said Mr. Miller. "We
look forward to providing the
fresh, prepared-at-order food
and superior service our customers
have come to expect from
Zaxby's."
Zaxby's, a Southeast favorite
for chicken fingers and Buffalo
wings, will operate Monday
through Thursday from 10:30
a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Friday
and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to
12 a.m. Sunday hours are 11 a.m.
to 10 p.m.
The new Zaxby's showcases
the chain's newest interior design,
featuring a bright, open interior
décor, complemented by vintage
memorabilia and signage. The
3,500-square-foot restaurant will
provide comfortable booths and
tables with a seating capacity of
90. Mr. Miller and General Manager
Rodrick Holsey have hired
more than 40 new employees to
staff the restaurant.
Mr. Holsey believes the restaurant
- from the atmosphere to the
service - will exceed community
expectations.
"We've assembled a great team
of associates who, we are confident,
will deliver on the Zaxby's
mission to consistently create
encore experiences that enrich
lives one person at a time,'" said
Holsey.
The Thomson location is the
latest for the Athens, Ga.-based
chain that started in Statesboro,
Ga., in May 1990. The 100th
Zaxby's opened in July 2001 in
Jacksonville and the company
recently celebrated its 200th
store opening.
