DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Charlotte A. Blackmon, 57, wife of Mr. Nathan "Tommy" Blackmon, entered into rest Friday, July 18, 2008, at her residence.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2008, in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Roger Wheeler officiating. Entombment was in the mausoleum.
Mrs. Blackmon, a native of Elkins, W.V., was a retired bookkeeper from the Pelzer Company. She attended Norris Chapel Congregational Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, Nathan T. Blackmon; her mother, Irene L. "Tenny" Wheeler, of Dearing; one daughter, Tina Marie Routh (Charles), Harlem; one step-son Kevin Lee Blackmon (Rebecca), Harlem; three brothers, Roger Wayne Wheeler, Beech Island, SC, Carl. J. Wheeler, Dearing, and William W. Wheeler, Harlem; four sisters, Darlene C. Hatfield, Helen, Ga., Patricia F. Miller, Thomson, Virginia Grace Rosier, Thomson, and Lorraine C. Wheeler, Hephzibah; and six grandchildren, Christopher Lee Blackmon, Cody Aaron Blackmon, Amber Nicole Routh, Joshua Aaron Routh, Tristan Chase Routh, and Makayla Brooke Routh.
Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
