THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Mary Lou Kitchens, 64, beloved wife of Mr. Jimmy Kitchens, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, in Heartland Hospice in Augusta.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, July 19, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Mrs. Genivieve Black speaking.
Mrs. Kitchens was a native of Wilkes County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a retired caregiver and a member of the Hill Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late H.M. and Lucille Chapman Taylor.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Kitchens, Thomson; her son, Jimmy A. Kitchens, Sr., Thomson; her two grandsons, Page Kitchens, Gibson and Jimmy A. Kitchens, Jr., Thomson; a very devoted daughter-in-law, Genivieve Black, Gibson; and her sister-in-law, Dorothy Manning, Stapleton.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
