HARLEM, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Robert Willie "Peter" Boyd, Jr., of Harlem, Ga., were held on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Piney Grove Baptist Church, Dearing, with Rev. Mark Downs officiating, interment in Woodlawn C.M.E. Church Cemetery, Harlem.
Survivors are his devoted wife, Mrs. Lula Dean Boyd, Harlem; one son, Octavious Boyd of Harlem; five daughters, Theresa (James) Rogers, Augusta, Linda (Robin) Lopez, Thomson, Levondell (Robert) Bradshaw of Dearing, Wanda (Sturgis) Smith of Harlem and Janice Abernathy of Riverdale, Ga.; one sister, Martha Bennett of Harlem; three brothers, Eddie Boyd, Sr., George Boyd and Willie Fred Boyd all of Harlem; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of the arrangements.
