DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Omnilia Mensing, 80, beloved wife of Kenneth Mensing, died Monday, July 17, 2006 at her residence.
Funeral services were held 10 a.m., Thursday, July 20, 2006, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Bob Andrews officiating. Burial followed in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Matthew Danley, Timmy Danley, Ray Radford, John Stewart, Dexter Lovins and Curtis Mencey.
Mrs. Mensing was a native of Dearing, a daughter of the late Lula and W.F. McCorkle. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and was a retired waitress from Michael's restaurant and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Kenneth Mensing, Dearing; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Buck, Nashville, Tenn.; two sons, Buford Danley, Dearing, Randy Danley, Apache Junction, Ariz.; two step-daughters, Linda Williams, Collegedale, Tenn. and Beth Engleman of Pa.; two sisters, Lois Moore, Thomson and Annie Jones, Atlanta and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
