Mrs. Martha Jean Lindsey DEARING, Ga. - Homegoing funeral services for Mrs. Martha Jean Lindsey, 53, of Dearing, were held on Friday, July 22, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the Norris Chapel Holiness Church, Augusta Highway, Dearing, Rev. Jimmy Richardson officiating. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery. Survivors are her husband Mr. Ronnie Lindsey, Dearing; mother, Mrs. Lucille Smith of Dearing; three godchildren, Sierra Smith of Augusta, Taiwan Lindsey and Tyesia Lindsey, both of Warrenton; three brothers, Calvin (Betty) Smith, Jr., Bobby (Ethel) Smith, all of Dearing, Sturgis (Wanda) Smith of Harlem; seven sisters, Lille (Emmett) Jones of Chicago, Ill, Jeanette (Casper) Crenshaw of Thomson, Sarah Smith and Mary Smith, both of Augusta, Sheila Smith of Dearing, Jennell S. Powell of Thomson, and Jennie Johnson of Dearing; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends. Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
