Mrs. Eugenia Linnenkohl Rogers

DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Eugenia Linnenkohl Rogers, 92, widow of Leonard B. Rogers, died Tuesday morning, July 19, 2005 in the Thomson Manor Health Care Center.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2005 in the Thomson First Baptist Church with Dr. Jimmy Elder officiating. Burial followed in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were David Milford, Tommy Burnley, Joe McCommons, Daryl Wester, Gerald Smith and Frank Locklear.
Mrs. Rogers was a native of Glascock County but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker, a member of Thomson First Baptist Church for more that 54 years and a member of the Lydian Sunday School Class. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard B. Rogers; her parents, James Carl and Lucy Ella Rogers Linnenkohl; two sisters, Edna Linnenkohl and Lois L. Whaley; two brothers, William E. Linnenkohl and Donald F. Linnenkohl. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Naomi Joanne and David Morris of Dearing, Barbara and David Oneal of Atlanta; one son, Edward Rogers of Dearing; two sisters, Cornelia L. and (Miller) Milford of Thomson, Ada Riley of Dearing; one brother, Ludwig and (Margie) Linnenkohl of Dearing; two granddaughters, Patricia Oneal, Jacksonville, Fla., and Susan and (Jason) Royal of Waynesboro; one grandson, Tim Oneal of Norfork, Va.; several nieces and nephews.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
