WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. Bobby Hobbs, 65, died Monday, July 18, 2005 in the Medical College of Georgia.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2005 in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Key officiating. Burial followed in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Dearing.
Pallbearers were Joey Key, James Key, Wayne Johnson, Chad Hilliard, Jack McCorkle, Avery Poss and Lynn Stewart.
Mr. Hobbs was a native of Glascock County, a son of the late Ralph P. and Rebecca Estelle Denton Hobbs and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by two sisters, Joann Key of Warrenton, and Cornelia Whitaker of Dearing; two brothers, Milton Hobbs of Warrenton, and James Hobbs of Phenix City, Ala.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
