Warren County election complaint filed
The Georgia Secretary of State's office is in the process of looking into a complaint filed after the July 20 election in Warren County. The Secretary of State's public information office would not comment on the possibility of an investigation except to confirm that a complaint had been filed.
As of Monday, Warren County elections official Lucy Bryant was not aware of the complaint or of a possible pending investigation.
TES to get toured
The Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Educational has chosen Thomson Elementary School as one of their stops on a tour of schools across the state of Georgia this year. The group will bring in around 100 people on Sept. 23 to tour TES.
According to the GPEE website, the 12th annual Bus Trip Across Georgia consists of two three-day trips to Georgia schools that are "excelling in student achievement." TES will be one of between seven and 12 schools toured by the group.
