DEARING, Ga.- Mr. Timothy Paige Evans, 42, of Dearing, entered into rest July 20, 2004, at McDuffie Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Debra Jones Evans.
Mr. Evans was born in Battle Creek, Mich., and has lived in McDuffie County for over 25 years.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Jones Evans of Dearing; five sons, Brett Hollis Evans of Dearing, Taylor Raye Evans of Thomson, J.R. Daniels of Michigan, Joshua and Christopher Willis of Dearing; one daughter, Elena Rivera Hodges of Louisiana; his mother, Geraldine Neal Evans (Marion)Young of Dearing; his father, James Hollis (Shirley) Evans of Battle Creek, Michigan; two brothers, James Taylor (Sylvia) Evans of Dearing and Rev. Tony (Starla) Evans of Macon, one sister, Tori Colleen (Tim) Waller of Harlem; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2004 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Kitchens officiating. Interment followed in the Neals Cemetery in Dearing.
Pallbearers were Stevie Poss, Tommy Poss, Ricky Johnson, Tim Cosby, Eddie Boyd and Danny Dean.
