THOMSON, Ga.- Mr. Wayne Langham, 51, of Thomson, entered into rest July 26, 2004, at University Hospital after an extended battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Lessie Rogers Langham.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larron Pilgrim officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery.
Mr. Langham was a native of Warren County, but had lived in Thomson most of his life. He was a member of Long Creek Baptist Church, a member of Thomson Country Club and was a retired clerk with CSX Railroad.
Survivors include his wife, Lessie Rogers Langham of Thomson; daughter, Nikki Langham of Thomson; three brothers, Lawrence Langham, Sandersville, Linton (Nyra) Langham, Warrenton, and Tim (Kathy) Langham, Conyers; and three sisters, Dot (John) Thigpen, Thomson, Betty (Kenney) Conner, Pitts, and Carolyn (Ernest) Wilkerson, Thomson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sammy Langham and Mary Lou McCoy Langham, and two brothers, Eugene Langham and Johnny Langham.
Pallbearers were nephews.
