Mrs. Emma Mae Mills
Retired Carol Fabrics
AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mrs. Emma Mae Mills, 75, wife of the late William R. "Will" Mills, entered into rest Saturday, July 24, 2004 at Beverly Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Mills was a native of Elberton, Ga. but lived in Augusta for the last 52 years. She was retired from Carol Fabrics after many years of service as a seamstress. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and making ceramics. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
Family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Connie Elaine and William Shaw of Martinez; sons and daughters-in-law, William Alvin and Virginia Mills of Thomson, Ga., Larry Douglas Mills and Cheryl McNab of Augusta; grandchildren, Leslie and husband, Timothy Wise, Haley Mills; great-grandson, Jack Wise; sister, Belle Harrison of Elberton; brother, Walter "Bo" Evans of Elberton. She was preceded in death by her grandson, John Shaw.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Lloyd Green officiating.
