THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mr. James William Jones, a.k.a. "Fat C.," was held on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at 11 a.m. at William Grove Baptist Church, Mitchell, with the Rev. Goldie Lott officiating. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Kelvin (Tammie) Jones, Thomson; two daughters, Mary Culver and Debbie (Roger) Howell, all of Dearing; five sisters, Mildred (Andrew) Hanson, Gloria (Will) Thomas, and Becky Ann Fountain, all of Thomson, Pauline (Elvin Eugene) Porter, Atlanta, and Rosa Lee Jones, Philadelphia, PA; two brothers, Barry Watson and Henry Curry, both of Thomson; three aunts, Wynonia Story, Catherine Jacobs, and Zenora Haywood, all of Thomson; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a devoted friend, Jimmy Dean Mims, Thomson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
