HARLEM, Ga. - Funeral service for Mr. Willie J. Jennings, 72, of Harlem, was held on Sunday, July 29, 2007, at 3 p.m. at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Moore officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors: two sons, Jeffery Jennings, Harlem and Anthony Jennings, Grovetown; four daughters, Shirley Ann Embry (Eugene), Thomson, Willie Ann Jennings, Rhonda Washington (Calvin) and Beverly Jennings, all of Grovetown; three sisters, Bessie Henderson, Marietta, Cynthia Huff, Atlanta and Carrie Bell Steed, Harlem; four brothers, James Jennings, Atlanta, George W. Harris, Sr., Marietta, Ebenezer Jennings, Atlanta and Mr. & Mrs. Johnny Jennings, Detroit, Mich.; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
