NASHVILLE, N.C. - Mrs. Wanda "Beckie" Landrum, 39, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, July 24, 2007, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born January 31, 1968, in Halifax County. Beckie loved her husband and boys. She enjoyed crafts, scrap booking and collecting cook books. She was a member of Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church. Beckie loved her Lord most of all, along with her Ebenezer Church Family. Beckie was known as "Mama Beckie" to a host of children that she kept over the years.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 17 years, Robert Landrum, Jr., of Nashville; mother, Myrtle Floyd Still of Roanoke Rapids; father, Robert Floyd of Roanoke Rapids; two sons, Robert and Ryan Landrum; mother and father-in-love, Robert Landrum and wife, Nancy, of Gibson; sisters-in-love, Angela Pope and husband, Tim, of Nashville, Rhonda Isch and husband, Alfred, of Charles Town, WV, Martha Smith of Nashville, Jean Landrum and husband, Ronnie, of Thomson; two uncles, Wilbur Floyd of Jackson, NC, Richard Floyd of Roanoke Rapids; and three aunts, Anne Johnson, Mary Dunlow and Linda Tipton, all of Roanoke Rapids.
Funeral Service was held Saturday, July 28, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Pastor Vernon Potter officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery of Nashville.
