DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Carl Muns, 69, beloved husband of Geraldine Muns, died Tuesday, July 25, 2006 in the University Hospital.
Funeral service were held 11 a.m., Thursday, July 27, 2006 in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ronald Young and Rev. David Young officiating. Burial followed in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Muns was a native of Thomson, a son of the late Carl and Nettie Beard Muns, Sr. He served in the Georgia National Guard for 16 years and retired from the Augusta VA Engineering Department as a painter. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where he was a member of Adult Sunday School Class.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Geraldine Muns, Dearing; two brothers, Jerry Muns, Rayville and James Muns, Cadley; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Lewis Roberts, Bob Coffman, Willie C. Grant, Dean Cason, Travis Proctor and R.J. Glascock.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
