THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. James Thomas Young, 60, beloved husband of Dorothy Young, died Sunday evening, July 31, 2005 at his residence.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Burial followed in the Savannah Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Billy Duffie, Willam Garrison, David Workman, Callaway Workman, Benji Cranford and Ray Cushman.
Mr. Young was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County. For more than 30 years he was a Tractor Mechanic with Border Sales and Service/Interstate Equipment.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Dorothy Young of Thomson; two daughters, Angela (Billy) Markley and Pam (David) Workman; four grandchildren that he loved dearly, B.J. and Tyler Markley, Morgan and Walker Workman and many devoted friends.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
