Jimmy Dalton Plunkett,
who is a candidate for Judge
of the Superior Courts of the
Toombs Judicial Circuit, has
all the qualities necessary
to be an outstanding judge.
His campaign is being run
well, honestly, and fairly, just
as those who know him well
would expect from Jimmy.
He is a package of gentleness,
kindness, generosity, good
humor, goodness, temperance,
love, caring, and peace. He is a
faithful and devoted husband
to his wife, Julie, and a loving
father to Caleb and Chelsey.
Since Jimmy and Julie
moved to Thomson in 1982,
they have made themselves
available as dedicated youth
workers, touching the lives and
hearts of many, many young
people who needed them.
Lives have been touched
by their musical abilities,
compassion, and dedication
to helping people. How do I
know all of these
things about this
candidate? For 15
years, beginning in 1982, I
was secretary to the late Judge
of Superior Courts Robert L.
Stevens. Jimmy had worked
there for one year prior to my
employment, and we worked
together for two years before
he formed his private law
practice.
We have been good friends
all these years. Jimmy is
extremely qualifi ed through
the many experiences of trying
all kinds of cases to become
our next Judge of Superior
Courts of the Toombs Judicial
Circuit.
