NORWOOD, Ga. - Mrs. Lucy R. Shanks Jones, of Norwood, Ga., died Thursday, July 31, 2008.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church, Norwood, Ga., with Rev. Christopher Andrews presiding and the Rev. Bennie L. Bouyer serving as eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosa Berry, Norwood, Ga. and Reanor Woods, Forest Park, Ga.; four sons, Tony Jones, Albany, Ga., Willie Jones, Stone Mountain, Ga., Jimmy Jones, and Rickey Jones, Sr., Norwood, Ga.; like a son, Richard Shanks, Atlanta, Ga.; 19 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one brother, two sisters; other relatives and friends.
Dawson's Mortuary was in charge of funeral arrangements.
