McDuffie Regional Medical Center recently recognized Frankie Edwards, environmental services in the operating room, as the Golden Heart winner for June.
Mr. Edwards has been with McDuffie Regional for 27 years.
"Frankie is an individual that is beautiful inside and out," said Jeannette Calvin-Blackmon, who works in the hospital's business office. "He's bursting with energy and continues to go beyond the call of duty to help where needed."
Several associates at MRMC commented on Frankie's positive and cheerful attitude.
"He is never in a bad mood," said Diane Norris, surgical services. "I can't recall a time when he's ever complained. He is an asset to the O.R. Department and we are lucky to have him on our team."
