THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Myra Hogue Farner, 92, of Warrenton Health and Rehabilitation, entered into rest August 4, 2007. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl Farner.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Farner was a native of Olean, New York, but lived in Wilmington, Illinois, before moving to Thomson in 1986. She was the daughter of the late Glen Hogue and the late Edith Jameson Hogue. Mrs. Farner was retired as a bookkeeper from the Wilmington Advocate in Wilmington, Ill.
Survivors include sons, William Paul Farner and his wife Patricia, Thomson, and James Farner, Elizabethton, Ky.; brother, Harry Hogue, Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, Mary Walker, Dallas, Ga., John Farner, Atlanta, Katie Farner, Atlanta, Julie Farner, Lansing, Mich., and David Farner, Tampa, Fla.
Memorials may be made to Warrenton Health and Rehabilitation or to the Alzheimers Foundation of America.
