STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. - Mr. Willie Raymond "Buddy" Cooper, 54, of Stockbridge, Ga., entered into rest August 1, 2007, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
Mr. Cooper was a native of McDuffie County. He was a retired engineer from the Army Air Force Exchange Service. Mr. Cooper was a member of the Moose Lodge of McDonough, the American Legion of Highfalls Post #303 and was a Baptist by faith.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, August 4, 2007, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Westview Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Cynthia Marie Cooper, Stockbridge, Ga.; a son, Wille Raymond Cooper II and his wife, Jennifer, Forsyth,Ga.; two daughters, Candice Turner and her husband, Samuel, Statesville, N.C., and Laura De'lia and her husband, Travis, of Rockmart, Ga.; father and stepmother, Willie Gene Cooper and Grace Cooper, Augusta; a brother, Steve Cooper and his wife, Brenda, Camak; two sisters, Debbie Campbell, Aiken, S.C., and Sue Ellen Douglas and her husband, Runo, Jekyl Island,Ga.; stepbrothers: Barry Marsh and Jimmy Marsh ; stepsister: Sheila Johnson, Augusta; grandchildren, Dusty, Joshua, Ciera, Hanna, Caleb, Mason, Nathan and Danica.
