Deacon James Booker
World War II Veteran
LINCOLNTON, Ga. - The funeral services for Deacon James Booker were held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Prices Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jackson Parks officiating. Interment was at Smith Chapel Cemetery. He passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at Thomson Manor Nursing Home.
His survivors includes six daughters, Patricia Cullars, Bertha L. Booker, Mary Linda Booker, Tara Teresa Booker, Shirley Ann Booker all of Lincolnton, and Lisa Wideman of Atlanta; three sons, Lonzo Booker of Passaic, N.J., Marshall Booker of McCormick, S.C., and Roger Booker of Lincolnton; four sisters, six brothers, 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
