DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Jimmy Hadden, 51, beloved husband of Mrs. Charlene Hadden of Dearing, died Monday, August 1, 2005 at his residence.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2005 in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ronnie Shelton and Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial followed in the Westview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Heath Mills, Jeff Cartledge, James Buffington, Travis Hadden, Jonathan Hadden and James Vaughn. Honorary pallbearers were Tony Hadden, Jessie Black, Lee Murphy, Ronnie Hudson, George Norris and J.T. Jimmy Turner.
Mr. Hadden was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, a mechanic and for many years worked for Ronnie Hudson and attended Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Hadden was preceded in death by his father, Learod Hadden and a brother, Kenneth Hadden and is survived by his loving devoted wife of 14 years, Charlene Susie Hadden of Dearing; three daughters, Ashley Hadden of Thomson, Kelley Hadden and Christian Hadden of Dearing; two sons, Kenneth Hadden and Davey Hadden of Dearing; mother, Barbara Hadden Armstrong of Stapleton; one sister, Pam Hadden Johnson of Dearing; four brothers, Donnie Hadden of Thomson, Bobby Gene Hadden of Boneville, Robbie Hadden of Thomson and Jesse Hadden of Dearing; one granddaughter, Haley Gunby of Thomson and many nieces, nephews and friends that all loved him very much.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
