H2U group offers thanks
Letter to the Editor
Dear Citizens of Thomson:
A big bundle of gratitude to you for your kindness and assistance.
During a recent trip, members of H2U (seniors at Doctors Hospital, Augusta) had the misfortune of a problem with our motor coach. A mini-bus from the First Baptist Church and a van from the 1810 Country Inn and Winery, along with employees of the Watson-Brown Foundation, soon appeared to transport us to lunch, while a local wrecker came to rescue our bus. Even the mayor stopped to offer aid! Where else but a friendly Georgia town would people be so kind to strangers in need?
Thank you, Thomson!
Members of H2U, Doctors Hospital
Augusta
