"I am excited to bring her on board," Mrs. Newton said. "I know she's going to make a great addition to our TES team. I know she'll work to meet the needs of all our students."
Ms. Nipple has had 13 years experience in Richmond County schools. She has her degree as an Educational Specialist and Educational Leadership from Paine College. In 2000, Ms. Nipple was Teacher of the Year at Jamestown Elementary School. In 2004-05, her entire class passed the CRCT test, and twenty out of twenty-four of her pupils scored in the top three stages of the CBA Writing Test. She has chartered three National Junior Beta Honor Society clubs, conducted reading and writing workshops, coached winners of the poetry and oratory contests, and facilitated Richmond County's After-School Academy for the past three years.
"I'm excited about coming to Thomson, everyone seems to be open and friendly," Ms. Nipple said. "They seem willing to accept new ideas."
