Mr. Forrest Johnson
Retired Farmer

WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. Forrest Johnson, 105, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Lorene Poole Johnson, died Sunday, August 10, 2008, at his residence.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at Johnson United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Jenkins officiating. Burial followed in the Johnson Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson, a native and life-long resident of the Johnson Community in Warren County, was the son of the late Mr. Wesley S. and Irene Poole Johnson. He was a retired farmer and school bus driver with the Warren County Board of Education. He was a member of the Georgia Bus Drivers Association and Johnson United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Xara Johnson (Eston) Usry, Warrenton; a granddaughter, Judy Usry (Randy) Johnson; and one sister, Nell Johnson Chalker, Thomson.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by two sisters, Josie Johnson and Ruby Johnson Abbott; and one brother, Harvey Johnson.

Pallbearers were Gene Chalker, Wayne Chalker, Billy Chalker, Randy Morris, Bobby Langford, and Terry Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers were George Holliman, J.B. Ivey, Warren Jackson, James Gunn, Wayne Coxwell, and Wilbur Johnson.
