THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Billie Blanchard Lowe, 82, beloved husband of Mrs. Mabel Lowe, of King Street, died Thursday, August 9, 2007, in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Shelton officiating. Burial was in the Marshall Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Lowe was a native of McDuffie County. He was the retired owner and operator of Lowe's Feed & Seed. He was a member of Marshall Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel Lowe, Thomson; two daughters, Sandra (Donald) Brooks, Thomson, and Gayle Graziano, Hazel N.C.; two granddaughters, Dana (Troy) Allen and Valeri (Jonathan) Cushman, both of Thomson; five great-grandchildren, Trevor Allen, Blake Allen, Hannah Allen, Ben Cushman, and Barrett Cushman, all of Thomson; two caregivers, Rochelle Hobbs and Helen McNair; several nieces and nephews; and his three beloved pets, Dandy, Pixie, and Lovie.
Pallbearers were Jay Mixon, Mike Bonner, Tim Shelton, Sonny McCorkle, Charles Newton Jr., and Mike Abbott. Honorary Pallbearers were Bob Farr, Virgil Thorne, David Ruehle, Howard Callaway, Lewis Hoats, David Lampp and Perry Sheppard.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
