Mr. and Mrs. Hollis D. Land of Thomson are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lacey Elizabeth Land to Kenneth Fletcher Reed, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Larry Reed of Lincolnton.
Miss Land is the granddaughter of Mrs. Montine Land and the late Mr. Connell Land of Thomson and Mr. Wallace Hitchcock and the late Mrs. Suzanne Hitchcock of Augusta. She is a 1998 graduate of Thomson High School and a 2003 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Art degree in Health and Science. Miss Land is currently employed by Pediatric Services of America as the office coordinator.
Mr. Reed is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward G. Drinkard of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Talmadge Reed of Lincolnton. He is a 1996 graduate of Lincoln County High School and attended Abraham Baldwin College. Mr. Reed is currently employed with Reed Trucking.
The wedding will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept.16, 2006, at First United Methodist Church of Thomson with the Rev. Pat Shannon conducting the ceremony.
