EVANS, Ga. - Mrs. Mary Frances Bargeron, wife of the late Authur Bargeron, died at her residence on Thursday August 10, 2006.
Funeral services were held on Saturday August 12, 2006 at Trinity Baptist Church in Evans at 2 p.m. with Dr. K.C. Stevens, Rev. Ron Hankel, and Rev. Rick Slagel officiating. Interment was in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include, two sons, Bennie L. Bargeron and his wife Janice of Evans, Eddie L. Bargeron and his wife Martha of Evans; two brothers, Billy Lewis and James Lewis both of Evans; six sisters, Lillie Mae Snyr of Edgefield, Eunice Newman of Grovetwon, Doris Turner of Appling, Martha Storey of Harlem, Grace Storey of Evans, Hellen Crawford of Thomson; 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Bargeron was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Gladys Lewis, one daughter, Alma Braswell, two grandsons, Vernon Beasley, and Bennie Bargeron Jr.
Mrs. Bargeron retired from the Fine Products Corporation as a machine operator, and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Evans.
Pallbearers were Eddie Bargeron Jr., Brandon Bargeron, Jeff Braswell, Shawn Snellings, Casey Salters, Nicholas Beasley, Trey Frazier, Justin Drum. Honorary pallbearers were great-grandsons.
Platt's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
