AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral Services for Mrs. Hattie Bell Reese, who entered into rest on August 5, 2006, at St. Joseph Hospital, were conducted Saturday August 12, 2006, at 5 p.m. at Stamp Branch Baptist Church with Rev. R.L. Martin officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
At an early age, she joined Stamp Branch Baptist Church. She served on the Missionary Board until her health no longer allowed.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her children, Robert (Carolene) Johnson, Sonny (Deloris) Shaw, Lugenia (William) Overton, Barbara Ann Johnson, Mary Ann (Elton) Daniels, and Deborah (Leon) Watkins; one brother, Deacon Denis (Exie Bee) Hamilton, and two sisters, Marie H. Williams of Augusta, GA and Mary West of Thomson, GA., and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.
