THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee Roberts, better known as Bobby, of Thomson, were held Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the New Zion Hill AME Church, Rev. Latham Mills officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors are a devoted wife, Mrs. Georgia West Roberts of Thomson; loving mother, Mrs. Katrina Jones Roberts of Thomson; three sons, Danny Lee Roberts of Thomson, Willie Lee Baker and Jamel Sims, both of Augusta; three daughters, Janice (Willie) Hudson of Mesena, Ga., Elaine (Kevin) McConico of Thomson and Charlyne (Spencer) Hobbs of Evans, Ga.; a sister, Annie Kate (James) Parks of Thomson; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.
The Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
