LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mr. William W. Scouten, of Lincolnton, entered into rest August 8, 2006, at his residence. He was the son of the late George Scouten and the late Edith Colburn Scouten.
Survivors include brother, George Scouten (Nancy), Thomson; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Scouten was born in Union County, N.J., and lived in Lincoln County for the past four years. He served in the U. S. Coast Guard and was retired as accountant from Civil Service. Mr. Scouten was also a Methodist.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
