Mr. and Mrs. Francis Paul Ingle, III of Jonesboro, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Shaffer Ingle of Jonesboro, to Patrick Calvin Ferguson of Thomson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin LeRoy Ferguson of Thomson.

The wedding will be held Oct. 8, 2005, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Thomson. Following the ceremony, a reception will be held at the home of Mrs. Caroline Walden, Lee Street, Thomson. After the wedding the couple will make there home in Grovetown.
The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Paul Ingle, Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry C Shaffer, Jr.
The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Caroline P. Walden and the late Mr. Thomas E. Walden, Sr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ray Eugene Ferguson Sr.
The bride is a graduate of Presbyterian College. She is employed at Wachovia Bank.
The groom is a graduate of Presbyterian College. He is employed at Hoover Treated Wood Products.
