Mr. and Mrs. Larry E. Clark of Alamo, would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Tamara Michele Clark to Shane Norman Richards, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hall and Mr. and Mrs. George F. Richards, all of Thomson.
Miss Clark is the maternal granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Thomas and the late W.H. Thomas, Jr. of Alamo. Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Eschol Clark of Alamo. Miss Clark is a 1997 graduate of Wheeler County High School and a 2001 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor's degree in Business Management. She is employed with Jackson Hewitt Tax Service in Statesboro.
The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Elton McMichael of Thomson. His paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude N. Richards, Sr. of Thomson. Mr. Richards is a 1992 graduate of Thomson High School and a 2001 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor's degree in Commercial Recreation. He is employed by Kelly Tours of Savannah.
The couple will be married Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, 3 p.m., at the Alamo First Baptist Church.
Following the ceremony the couple plans to reside in Statesboro.
