GIBSON, Ga. - Mrs. Lois H. Dupree, 87, widow of Mr. Claude Dupree, died Sunday, August 17, 2008, in the Gibson Rest and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Kerr and Rev. Beverly Casstevens officiating. Burial was in the Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Dupree was a native of Jefferson County. She was a retired seamstress with the Thomson Company. She was a member of the Reedy Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Dupree.
She is survived by her daughter, Helen Hillman, Wrens; two sons, Wayne Dupree, Thomson, and Bobby Dupree, Gibson; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
